Lawrence High School for Math, Science, and Technology and School Performing and Fine Arts. We are explorers. We are curious. We want to know how things work. In all subjects, across all disciplines, we ask the question, “Why is the world the way it is?” We don’t just learn by books, we engage the world through project-based learning. We believe that our students should not be denied the opportunity to think about intellectually interesting and challenging problems just because they lack certain skill levels. Indeed, we hold fast to our belief that a lack of skills does not equate to a lack of ability. Accordingly, we are committed to effectively teaching all our students to think critically about their community and their world through our thematic lens.

Our core curriculum will be built around math, science, and technology. This is because in today’s global, high-tech economy, students must be prepared for success in postsecondary education and become lifelong learners in order to earn a living wage and realize their full potential. A college graduate earns 70 percent more than a high school graduate and is only one-quarter as likely to be unemployed. Our core curriculum must give our students a solid grounding in these necessary skills.

Gardner High School is committed to the academic success of all students and to the belief that all students can learn. Consistent with the school mission statement at Gardner High School, we strive to prepare all students to be educated, productive, and responsible citizens.

The Mission of Haverhill High School is to produce self-directed learners who read, write, and speak effectively in Standard English and who apply analytical and technological skills to interpret information and problem solve.
